The first mark number indicates the protection level of contact protection and foreign objects, and the second mark number indicates the protection level of waterproof. As long as the product needs to prevent solid objects, such as arms, fingers, metal bars, metal wires, and even dust or liquid (water) from entering the product, there is a set of standard test equipment, methods, time and judgment standards. 。 IEC / en60529 standard refers to the degree of protection provided by enclosure (IP code), i.e. the degree of protection provided by the product shell.
IP is the abbreviation of international protection, which means the internationally recognized protection level. Generally speaking, most IEC or en product standards make some modifications to the conditions of IEC / en60529, such as test conditions or test judgment, to meet the requirements of their special products. Products need to be tested for dustproof and water-proof. Most of the conditions for use are in outdoor or humid environment, such as the power supply of lamps, advertisements, air conditioning products, bathroom supplies, washing machines, swimming pool supplies, three warm supplies, bathtub supplies and other products, and even information products increasingly emphasize the function of dustproof and water-proof.
