The lamp energy efficiency directive EU no.1194/2012 will be formally implemented from September 1, 2013
On December 14, 2012, directive EU 1194 / 2012 was issued;
The order came into force on January 3, 2013, 20 days after it was issued;
The first stage requirements will be implemented on September 1, 2013;
The second stage requirements will be implemented on September 1, 2014;
The third stage requirements will be implemented on September 1, 2016;
Now it is the requirement of the third stage!
The test items involved in ERP certification include:
1. The 6000 hour damage rate is greater than or equal to 0.9 (this requirement will be implemented from March 1, 2014 due to the long test time);
2. The maintenance rate of 6000 hour luminous flux is greater than or equal to 0.8 (this requirement will be implemented from March 1, 2014 due to the long test time);
3. Before failure, the number of switches is more than or equal to 15000 times (rated life 30000 hours) or more than or equal to half of the rated life calculated in hours;
4. The starting time is less than 0.5s;
5. The time required to reach 95% luminous flux is less than 2 seconds;
6. The early failure rate is less than or equal to 5.0% (normally lit for 1000 hours);
7. The color rendering index is greater than or equal to 80%, and the color rendering index for outdoor or industrial use is greater than or equal to 65%;
8. Color tolerance is less than or equal to 6dB;
9. Power factor requirements: power is less than or equal to 2W, no power factor requirements; 2W to 5W, PF value requirements are greater than 0.4; 5W to 25W, PF value is greater than 0.5; power is greater than 25W, PF value is greater than 0.9.
Certification process: fill in the application form, provide product information, send samples, test OK and issue certificate / Report
